It’s been one year since I started Hunt the 27th.
The idea came from my experience with White’s Easter Egg Hunt. 2018 was the first year I participated, 2019 I was awarded the position of “bunny” to hide the eggs for this area. I loved the idea of the contest, enjoyed hunting as well as hiding the eggs, and meeting new people along the way. I wanted to figure out a way to continue the idea, and hunt the 27th was born.
Why the 27th? My first date with my husband was 05/27/2013. Seven years ago he asked me out after we had been friends for years. I’ve never regretted taking that chance and saying yes. Three years ago he moved us South to Jacksonville Beach for a job opportunity. And here in Florida I fell in love with metal detecting and photography….
So as long as people are interested, let’s keep hunting! Thanks for a great first year!
There are two cases to be found at this location along with various other items.
This hunt just as the others will require a detector. Make sure you fill any holes you dig and many thanks for picking up any trash you find along the way as well. Take a photo of where you find the container and text it to the number found on this site (904-201-9047). Feel free to text for clues as well!
