In memory of Jim Farquharson…
In April 2019, Jim found a case from one of the White’s egg hunts, completely unaware of the event. Then he found another in one February 2020 on one of his trips to visit St. Augustine as they often did each winter, being one of the last opportunities he would have to join the event. Even though Covid cut his trip short in 2020, we kept in touch via email every month on the 27th. Often the emails were talking about the weather or showing off finds to each other we had for the month from metal detecting. However in 2022, cancer unfortunately invited it’s ugly self into his life. Jim said goodbye to this world on Oct 1st, 2024.
Below is a collection of all those wonderful finds over these last 5 years he shared with me. I was truly blessed to have made such a friendship in this community, as he was such a great light to everyone he met.
