Jacksonville Beach’s “Opening of the Beaches” parade started in 1946. This year marks it’s 77th year of the tradition which travels thru the north part of Jax Beach, turning at 11th Ave North and making it’s way down 1st street to Beach Blvd. The event starts at 2pm this Sunday and is definitely a fun event. Full of treasures, but unlike those you’ll find today..
Below are the “treasures” for this hunt. There are two cases that contain at least $27 each with a coin. This hunt will require a detector just like the others. Make sure you fill any holes you dig on the beach and many thanks for picking up any trash you find along the way as well. If you need a hint or find the case, text me at 904-201-9047.
